Milk & Honey Bake Shoppe, Inc.

Right up the road from Indiana is where you'll find Peggy Citeroni of the Milk & Honey Bake Shoppe in Homer City, PA. Citeroni started her business officially in 2011 as an order only in home bakery. She started baking for church events and friends, and her popular baked goods had people asking for more.  She started taking orders out of her home and then tried her hand at the Homer City Farm Market.  She was a vendor at that market for 3 years before 2014 when she joined the Indiana County Farmers' Market.  Each week you can typically find coffee cakes, cookies, danishes, and muffins at her stand, along with an assortment of other baked goods varying week to week.  She spends the night before and morning of the Saturday market baking her treats, and you can taste the freshness and quality in her baked goods.

The list of items she bakes from her in home bakery is quite extensive, and you won't find all those items at the farmers' market, but luckily she has a flyer at her stand that lists the wide variety that you can order from her.  A quick overview of what she lists in her handout includes dessert cakes, coffee cakes, sweet breads, muffins & quick breads, pies, yeast breads, gobs, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, and celebration cakes.

A new vendor for our 2014 season, this is definitely a booth you'll want to check out, it's near impossible to walk by without purchasing a delicious treat!
